Hello and thank you for visiting my page! My name is James and I have a huge passion for sport, health & fitness, coaching, and overall wellbeing. Having had the opportunity to play and compete in a high level of football (soccer) my whole life, I understand the importance of maintaining good health and fitness.

My certification in Strength & Conditioning with the NSCA allows me to work with professional, amateur, and collegiate athletes. I also hold a master's degree in sports science.
Just like a car needs fuel to run, our body needs food to function. By providing our cells with proper nutrition, we are giving them the best chance at maximal performance. Our meals should include all the macronutrients; fats, proteins, and carbohydrates.
Whenever we breath, sweat, or digest food, we are using water, therefore it is vital that we replace this loss of fluid. Water helps regulate our body temperature and maintain bodily functions. Current recommendations for water intake per day include 2.7 liters for women and 3.7 liters for men.
I often get asked what is the best form of exercise. Personally, I enjoy strength training which involves lifting heavy weights for few reps. However I understand that this might not help other people reach their goals.
